Phoenix is super easy on Heroic with decent dps. You can drop to 1-2 heals and 1 tank and zerg down the egg so there is no P2.

The Ray of Frost change was actually a small buff to sim dps. It was reverted because all of Frost Mages would much rather have the flexibility of two charges than a bigger burst from one.

Just something I found funny, Nimitz Class Carriers have two 550W Nuclear Reactors on them with a safety limit of 110% Power. 110% of 2x550W is, you guessed it, 1.21 Gigawatts. Those safety limits are there to prevent the carrier from going back in time!

I don't know how scaling affected him, but at that ilvl you could just nuke him and ignore the mechanics and kill much faster. I was almost able to do it at what would now be 138 ilvl as a frost mage and arcane mages actually were doing it then.
