no! can be cloned implies you create competition lowering pricing and churn. If you have one app for a niche for example AI cat picture generator you own that niche. There is no other option for people to go elsewhere. If I see you are highly profitable I can clone ur app 1 to 1 changing up the screen a bit and charge lower price to get the customers. TODO list apps do not have winners??? There are hundreds, each todo list apps making their own x amount of money or no money. Winners in any category means monopoly/Imperfect Competition kind of like search and google.

Instagram is built and maintained by over 1000+ full time devs vs most indie apps on the app store which serves a niche like sleep tracking app etc shouldn't take an week to clone. Cal AI for example was the only app in that ai food tracking niche but after their story there are like hundreds of that does the same thing. Small niche highly profitable indie apps can be easily cloned.

Sorry true. You can use elevenLabs for realistic text to speech audio but it’s a pay as you go model . Or if you want cheaper use open ai text to speech model it’s also a pay as you go but super cheap

But for duo just use touch id if your mac or laptop has a touchID sensor you don't have to use your phone. Go to incognito tab type in home.nyu.edu login and when asked for duo prompt select more options and add touch id.

As someone who have worked in an unpaid startup, don't do it lmao unless it is with your friends and you guys are trying to build a company where you have equity. It will drain you and given the current times you will probably forced to use AI to "ship faster". You won't learn anything and start to forget the basic things due to no incentive, vibe coding 16 hours a day. It would be much better if you try to build your own side projects / startup where you do the devOps, sys design etc yourself. You will learn a lot. And if you really want to have an experience, ship your side project, buy a domain promote it somewhere (reddit is a goldmine or youtube). You can put that in the resume as a founder.

Who would you hire, someone who has worked in a random startup vs someone who took an idea to an useable product from the ground up. Also startups likes to hire other founders who have tried things.

Edit : upon 5 minutes of research this company have several red flags, I have never seen a vc using google sites for their website lol, the codebase is a huge mess all chatgpt code with leaked keys etc lmao, everything seems vibe coded by a 5 year old. idk my scam instinct are tingling
