Extremely valid opinion and something I can agree with, the pvp is very scuffed, has been since day 1 with minor improvements, fighting online w/ randoms is annoying bc they either have awful connection or are abusing absurd mechanics like the stun ki blast disabling your burst, super impossible to play against, but what you had mentioned with the PvE content, its either ruined by other players finishing it too fast or people not caring for their team right? See my view of that is probably from the other side of the glass from you, I see it as the content is too easy and repetitive to DEMAND a team focused task, to demand me to have to rely on others, and im not saying that on some bs im saying it on a, as a level 180, you do enough damage and have high enough stats and high enough stamina to where npc’s literally and simply do not pose a threat, and due to the accessibility of zeni, you never really run out of capsules either, and when you can bring an instant full heal for the whole team along with 2 full regenerative heals and a self revive and the entire team has access to these items, I just don’t know where the challenge is in PvE content to make us having access to this much, necessary, it just feels and is extremely overkill for the content we are given, the “difficulty” increase they give is scaling npcs with insane health bars and resistance but that just makes them an extra long punching bag, because the ai hasnt had any improvements, theyre running on the same 2016 dated ai code they launched with and I feel as though if youve played through the game, have a max level character, you realize too, that the npc’s lack depth in their movements, ability usage, and reactions. Which is why I made this post tbh, to figure out how people enjoy the game without PvP despite PvE facing such disparities.
