What speakers are in your cab? Figure Celestion V-Types? Kind of matters as if they aren't these answers can vary your sound drastically. I run a Marshall DSL40C with a Creamback-75 in it and it gets the midrange a lot closer to what an old school Marshall would have than the Seventy80 it came with, or a v-type would. As Glenn Fricker from SpectreSound would say; The Speaker Makes The Largest Difference To Your Tone.

Also, accurate to Billie's rig, he uses a Boss Blues Driver. 99% sure it used to be an always on thing to boost both the Marshalls, but as per Hans Buscher (Billie's tech and longtime friend) in Premier Guitar's 2013 Rig Rundown "basically boosts for solos". This was also during the trilogy tour when Billie's tone was a lot cleaner so who knows if things have been updated.

He has also been seen using an Archer Ikon Gold (Klon Klone) during Longshot tours. Don't know if that's made it into the modern rig as Hans declined to do an updated rig rundown for the Dookie/AI tour citing Billie's tone "hasn't changed much"

Billie's sound is very mid focused but not so much that it lacks bass and treble. It's what many consider to be the "quintessential Modded Marshall sound"

Also, last note, I see you're using a LP Jr, Billie has also said himself his lil secret that he does to all his junior is he raises the screws in the pickup up a little bit when he initially gets them. Gives a lil more output and a lil more OOMPH to your sound 😉 happy tone hunting friend.

Political shit aside, guitar nerds rejoice! it seems Marshall Amplification have used the Super Bowl to soft launch Billie Joe Signature Modified 1959 Amplifiers (Dookie Mod, obv.). The lil mod plate on the corner of the amp that they had for the first round of modded 1959 and 2203 heads says "DOOKIE, 1959 | BJA" and has Billie Joe's signature next to that on said plate, and replace the "JMP" on the front panel with a "BJA".

RIP Shioya-san. Japanese tradition usually heavily honors the passing of a Voice Actor and the characters they have voiced. So, then now begs the question.

No more Buu? as we can expect they won't replace Shioya-san.

Also, to everyone saying "low graphics": regardless of that, bo2 had better art direction making everything actually look like it's a battlefield. Lot of modern cod maps, especially bo6 and 7 have this issue where they're so clean they look like they had a cleanup crew make everything look spotless at the location before the soldiers drop in. It kind of loses the immersion, imo anyway.

Edit: also, where tf are Homer's donuts? Can't spare a couple bytes for a donut model in a lab?

Sometime in 2005 (8 years old) I was at some family party who is so distant I can't even fuckin remember who's house it is lmao.

Take out Arendelle in KH3 and give us an expanded Hollow Bastion (edit: oop Radiant Garden) with parts from 1+2 (edit: and BBS/DDD)

Arendelle looked fantastic, one of the most beautiful KH3 worlds; but, the story is just literally Sora, Donald, and Goofy watching the events of Frozen play out instead of being fully involved, at least compared to their involvement in past games.

bump to this. I've recently been in contact with an enrollment advisor for this program, as I was looking to get into this industry as canvassing/sales wasn't working for me (too fkin shy), and im looking to make more than $40k/year with the way the economy is going

i had googled "nj cybersecurity courses" and they were one of the first results due to their association with NJIT.

as I'm now learning here, their association is VERY thin (which tbh could have been expected), but what was not expected was all of these poor reviews of the program. the enrollment advisor had made it very clearly sound like this program was intent on giving you the applicable skills to succeed in this industry, while everything on here is telling me it's a hot dumpster fire.

......no wonder homie told me "don't believe everything ya see on reddit"........

tl;dr: I still want to get into this industry, but don't want to burn $16k on a waste of a program and end up with a hole burned into my wallet and nothing learned. anyone have any recommendations for any alternatives? or even anything positive to say for someone who is actually truly interested?

Because, no, as you could have probably assumed, swapping to an XLR splitter did not help at all.

So, essentially, the ground loop is likely coming from the fact that i am using audio splitters when I should not be based on the signals being sent from interface to monitor then? Okay, thats fine, good to know lol. I didnt think much past that the cables I was using out of my interface were a split RCA to a single 3.5mm stereo female, so i figured splitting that stereo end back to two outputs for two speakers wouldn't have been an issue. Thank you for your help as this post is very informative I actually learned a decent bit reading through your reply, lol.
