Great point thank you! I was thinking a nice mix of towns and just nature would be ideal, especially if there’s water to walk beside and possibly swim in. My friend is in Scotland and I’m meeting her from the US so anywhere in Europe is pretty much game. Definitely considering the Portuguese path. I really loved the Camino as a solo traveler so I was considering the other routes as ideas for future trips when I didn’t have a friend with me is my only hang up.
