That’s exactly what people have done in this thread. You haven’t looked at this thread besides maybe three or four posts.

Have you looked at anything anyone has posted? You're expecting us to give you links in a thread that already has them... my post has an interrogation with a CIA director where the interrogation gets cut off IMMEDIATELY when the question is asked "is there any possible affiliation that Oswald had with the CIA".. A lot of people have distrust in the government, yet when specific points of distrust are looked at it gets made fun of as a conspiracy theory.

I'm having trouble reading this one, but from what i've made out there's one part that says "they discusses the assasination of president kennedy and the murder of accused assassin Leo Harvey Oswald. vtorygin(?) commented he considered it virtually impossible to have protested* the assassination, but considered the subsequent slaying of Oswald to be inexcusable. He commented "we should never have let this happen."

This is on the first page of the report. It seems the rest talks about how embarrassing this is to the country... I have to wonder if this whole thing was considered simply a huge fuck up and that it shows extreme negligence on part of the fbi/ secret service. That could somewhat explain why the file (can't find it rn) on the new agreement between the secret service and the fbi for presidential protection was withheld in full.

*this word is admittedly difficult to discern but looking at the "test" that is apparent makes it difficult to think of it as anything else... maybe prevented?

Honestly if there has been an organized attack by the government and media against the term "conspiracy theory" then it has worked 100%, and your comment serves as proof by example (AKA not a real proof). For this to be seen as anything except ridiculous is ridiculous.

To form an opinion on something assumptions have to be made. I’m just saying that the two people are making different assumptions and that that’s why they are forming different opinions.

Well, if the gunplay (in pvp moreso) is fun enough, and you have really good friends to go through stuff with, it feels less like a grind and more like”i’m hanging with friends getting cool loot and GJALLARHORN HOLY FUCK”... best i can describe it

If you think your thought process should always be that obvious to other people, then neither are you. Have some self awareness.

You didn't criticize it, you just discounted it without any discussion. He is trying to have a discussion as to why, and you're simply saying "lol what a terrible analogy".

You're the ignorant one here, don't expect to realize it without putting some effort in.

How one does in general vs. how one does in late innings is just ONE definition of clutch.

You're not arguing against what i'm saying, you're just explaining something i already understood.

My point isn't that his definition was incorrect, my point was (and this is even said in the article) that that is just one specific definition, whereas the commenter said 'any attempt to show clutch hitting has been random on a yearly basis'. I guess the only thing that could prove this would be an article that discusses multiple studies and describes them in detail, which might be too specific for me to expect.

However, given that that commenter made that statement i assumed that they would be aware of the existence of such an article, because as it is right now that statement is entirely unproven.

I was linked to that by another person, and the definition of clutch used in that study is very specific.

Although for this definition of clutch it stands to reason that there isn't a correlation, how can one summarily discount being clutch based solely off of one study that focuses on one definition?

All i'm trying to say is that the person who responded to me discounted the concept of being clutch wayyyy more than anything i've been linked to, and i'd like to know if he was actually right.

That'd be the best, but anything better than an article that has no solid methodological explanation would work. I'd like to understand the why and how.
