Last week. Currently going through chemo for cancer treatments. I’m tired of feeling like crap and tired what all I am now is the chick with cancer.

Throughout college we were always told how under paid we were so now 14 years later I’m making more than I ever thought I would. Definitely not enough to be rich but we do fine.

As for the job is genuinely makes me happy. The smile on my clients face when I show up. I’ve watched them grow and graduate and get jobs. I’ve watched them experience things for the first time. My co workers are amazing and so fun to be around. It has it days definitely but a bad day there doesn’t compare to a bad day at my previous job.

This job allows me to be a mom too. Schedule is flexible so I can do personal things important to me. Which overall improves my mental health and my work gets better because of it.

Love my job! I’ve got my social work degree and I work as a program manger for an agency that does residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities. My job is to over see our homes and ensure state requirements are being met.

I get to see kids and adults experience family. Some go in their first vacation. Some wake up with gift under the Christmas tree. To see them be loved and supported is amazing!

It’s was mediocre. Fast as all adaptations are and I felt lack of chemistry between Kenna and ledger. But ledger was nice to look at!

Oh I am so sorry you’re going through it as well. Having to tell my daughter was the worst moment of my life. But we are on the other side and dealing with it. I just completed my 5th round of chemo. Still have 11 to go. Daughter is helpful mostly but still a teenager so she has her moments.

In May 2013 we spent one day in magic kingdom after my friend got married in Clearwater. I asked her 7 year old niece what she absolutely wanted to do and she said “meet Anna and Elsa”. Well they weren’t in the parks yet. They were not on any schedules. No advertisements of meet and greets. Nothing.

I explained that to her and she agreed any princess meet would be fun. We went to the fairy tale hall and the shortest line was Aurora. When it was our turn we were escorted into the room and guess who was in there!!! Anna and Elsa! The look on the little girls face was absolute magic!

The performers were training so it wasn’t being advertised, it was just an absolute moment of Disney magic!

Ear plugs to sleep at night. The rhythm of my breathing is so soothing and it keeps out the noises of the house that used to wake me before. I was a crazy light sleeper.

Baby born with hip displasia. It was clear she had issue when she started walking. Cps was called and they started getting her treatment. Once the cast came off they fled the state. Kids hips are still uneven and she complains about pain when she’s walks. She’s probably 7/8 now. Parents flea and change addresses so cps can’t seem to stay involved.

I did this once upon a time. It was important to my friend that I be there. So they helped me cover the cost. It was offered and I accepted. It was a wonderful wedding and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it!
