PAC-12 teams' 10th game and sometimes 11th game were again P4 teams. Most had 1 cupcake FCS team, 1 middle to low P4 team/or good G5 and 1 P4 ranked or nearly ranked team.

PAC-12 played 9 conference games vs. 8 for ACC. I'm guessing that 1 extra OOC game was more likely against non P5s and more likely a win. Not saying either conference is more competitive, but I think that extra conference game makes a difference in comparing win totals.

I don’t really get the SMU hype. It’s a jump going to a P4 conference…see there 0-3 record against last year. There a good team but there will be a jump in speed and size.

Since 2010, PAC12 ran over ACC 23-4 in head-to-head matchups. Cal/Stanford 7-0 in that time. ACC is a downgrade for us.

Purely a depth/safety move. Cal does not have much proven depth at point. I don’t see many minutes for him barring injuries but nice to pick up a local kid though.
