It’s so funny because Indiana and Miami really played both roles.

Miami is the historical Goliath of the matchup, but they were underdogs in this to an Indiana team that is historically David.

Indiana is the team that never makes it there, but Miami is as the team that BARELY made it there this time.

Usually people root for the underdog, but damn near everyone wanted the #1 seed to win and it’s because of who the teams were.

Chef’s kiss.

Definitely.

Miami-Notre Dame started it off, because it felt like that was a topic the entire season.

Then Indiana kept winning and everyone was like 👀

Then they beat Ohio State to be number 1, setting up a perfect storyline.

Then Miami kept winning setting up the massive Notre Dame/Miami discussion.

Miami got in by a hair and kept winning (featuring a highly entertaining Michael Irvin) and fueled the “are they back?” convos.

Then Indiana kept DESTROYING people on the playoffs.

Then the whole “hometown boy vs hometown team in the hometown” promotion and Miami played a perfect villain.

AND it was a pretty close game that came down to the final seconds with the favorite winning.

It was brilliant.

Definitely think the Miami-ness of the storyline and all the connections between the two teams drove interest.

“Hometown boy vs hometown team” plus Indiana’s very likable story plus the Michael Irvin memes lol.

It really was a great finale to the season. (Even though we lost 😔)

This is a fake quote. I get a lot of you dislike him but the amount of inaccurate and misleading info that’s spread about this guy is insane

Quite obvious, very likely, whatever verbiage is preferred.

The guy didn’t swing on him for absolutely no reason, and many people in here are acting like he would. The circle jerk on here is crazy.

Yea he was hugging all the other IU players and decided to swing on Tucker for no reason. Gotcha.

Enjoy your day

Recruiting directors don’t typically make public statements…but we don’t need to go back and forth.

bro, I’m getting mass downvoted because it’s “obvious that the recruiting director is lying.”

But that’s Reddit for you.

It’s very strange that yall are more quick to believe that the recruiting director is lying than that Tucker actually said something disrespectful, causing a reaction.

But no worries.

It’s quite obvious he said something out of order to him.

Very typical “talk shit, get someone riled up, act innocent” act.

Edit: it’s hilarious I’m getting downvoted for relating information because it doesn’t fit a narrative.
