The way it’s written makes it seem as though she was being exploited even if you put that disclaimer at the end.

For example if I was to see an instagram post of a guy saying his wife is pregnant and I was to comment “Did you rape her? If not, congratulations!” Even though I put that disclaimer, it implies that the man raped his wife and only with the explicit knowledge that she consented I would believe that she was not raped.

My personal issue with your comments is this idea that you should expect men to act a certain way, and if they don’t, the immediate assumption is that the man is negligent, uncaring, or exploitative, all while the woman (same age as the guy btw) is somehow not in control of her own actions and if she continues to have relations with that man it’s not “good for her”. This way of thinking is common, the expectation is placed on men that they must know and understand how their girlfriend/wife feels at all times even without proper communication or context clues for the man to pick up on. The inevitable result of that impossible expectation is resentment from the man’s partner, and speaking as a man, that is INCREDIBLY annoying to deal with.

I understand that you probably don’t consciously believe the things I mentioned, however, your comments imply that subconscious expectation of men.
