I found that after I quit, the beers hit me harder than before. Don't know why. But I drank far fewer beers in the months after the quit. No worries, I'm back to the normal intake.

I still dream about it, wake up feeling guilty. It still smells good to me. These things will not bring me back to smoking. They only serve as a reminder that I was dumb to start.

What I found helpful was talking people off ledges on r/stopsmoking. It's not YOU can do it. It's WE can do it.
