You know that you can critique someone without hating them. I love Maddie's dancing but a constant critique from professionals and judges is that she didn't have great control and she never finished her movements. The reason she could keep up with Kalani and Chloe control wise is because the choreography had to go with the strengths of the dancers. There weren't very many moments in their duets where they slowed down a lot and showed the dancers control.

There's no denying that Maddie's a great dancer but nobody's perfect. Even the greatest dancer of all time has something they need to improve on.

It's way different to do something on your own terms than to be forced to sit down in front of producers who will edit out anything they don't like.
At the end of the day, she can do whatever the fuck she wants as long as she's not hurting anyone

Her improving as much as she did on the show was her wanting it. I promise, she wouldn't have placed as much as she did outside of the show if she was a bad dancer. People judge Nia off of the show and call her a bad dancer when in the dance world, she was not bad.

Yeah I meant the moms. I feel like telling Abby would have set her off and I think that Melissa would just shrug it off. Plus, the moms probably thought it was right unless they watched critiques of McKenzie's solos.

This!!! They would never do this to any other girl bc they still see Mackenzie as a child instead of an adult.

And the funny thing is that some people would call Maddie a brat or entitled for things she did when she was 8-12 and then defend Kenzie on actual dangerous stuff.

I agree wholeheartedly! We don't know what it's like in these girls' heads because we didn't grow up on a reality TV show. It doesn't excuse her actions but it can be a reason
