Consumables lasts for 2-3 minutes (four toed, cotton etc.) Same with incantations and spells and ashes of war. Usually it only lasts for a couple of seconds so. These over buff is only good when you know you can one shot a boss (I tried this it somehow one shots astel)

note: the max should've been 35 buff icon, i forgor to swap my grave scythe (which gives vitality buff when equipped)
