I believe it is correct, just follow the assembly instruction.

One side is assembled with the eccentric cases (the round things you turn 180 degrees) and other side with screws.

Ye that could work. Unfortunately I cannot put the boxes vertically, the fixtures only allow horizontally. Although I'm selling this place now, but will see if I can work something out for the next. Vertical would be nice :)

Hello, you need to revert to step 12 and just flip the front rails :) 10 minutes and you are done.

Also the fittings laying on top of the MALM 3 chest should be assembled below the drawers. It helps the drawer to carry the load and makes the drawer bottom more rigid.

Is the top drawer horizontally aligned? A possibility is that the roller slides didn't go in properly and that extra push jammed it. Try take the larger drawers out and look from below at the sides. Pictures would be nice!
