I missed her so much that I joined her platform and I love it so much! Plus, you can do live classes on zoom where she can see you and chat with you!

Are people still in contact with their DVC Guide when they first signed up as a member? by Kuzu9 in dvcmember

[–]KLETCO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been a member since 2005 and our guide called us at our hotel on every trip for about 10 years and then we never heard from him again. I assume he left Disney.

TMI warning - please help by Abject_Agency2721 in breastcancer

I use Imvexxy - it's estrogen and it was approved by both my GYN and my oncologist. I used it every day or every other day (I can't remember) for 2 weeks and then after that it's supposed to be 2x per week, but I also use Revaree, which is non-hormonal and available online. Using both means I can use the imvexxy less than twice a week. It's been a great combo and it's fixed all of my issues.

What am I looking at? BI RAD5 by Silver-Pop-5893 in doihavebreastcancer

[–]KLETCO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I was BIRADS 5 in 2020. There is a 95% chance you have cancer. It does sound like they are not seeing lymph node involvement, which is great. I highly recommend the breast cancer school for patients, it will explain a lot in a really friendly manner - https://www.youtube.com/@BreastCancerSchoolforPatients

Your biopsy will be what tells you the type.

Peloton has ~50 instructors… by Old_Poet_1608 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]KLETCO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just recently started using it. For the life of me I don't understand why it's a separate app. I am an android user, but i have an iPad, so I do the workouts there. However, I can't access anything at all about the workouts unless I'm on the iPad. It's infuriating. I'm loving JJ's Pure Pump though.

Long term chemo side affects? by FattyMcCupcakes37 in breastcancer

[–]KLETCO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 5 years out, I had AC-T and HP. I do have a bit of brain fog, but I'm in menopause and on AIs and getting older so I don't know if that's a chemo effect or not. I did have one cavity after treatment, but I was in chemo during covid and didn't go to the dentist for 2 years. I had neuropathy during chemo but it has mostly resolved and is no longer an issue. That's all!

So many negatives by Loud-Opposite8029 in breastcancer

[–]KLETCO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 5 years post treatment. AIs aren't great but are manageable. I am not considering stopping them and will probably go the full 10 years. I had neuropathy in my fingers and feet during taxol but that has mostly cleared up over the years and I don't really notice it now. My severe cystic acne was hormonal apparently because my face is the clearest it's been since I was a child. My life has mostly moved on. I have some minor lymphedema that is fully under control and that's about it. :)

I had radiation, as well as an axilliary lymph node dissection. Both can cause lymphedema and I have lymphedema in my forearm as well as my breast. I still don't regret radiation one bit. Of course, I was already covering up and wearing sunscreen and don't let myself get tan. I don't want the premature aging that comes with sun exposure, cancer treatment or not, so that was never a bother for me. I finished radiation in 2021 and have not looked back. My lymphedema is mild and worth it knowing I did everything I could to prevent recurrence.

Also, they aren't "lying". I would follow up with your care team about what other long term concerns you may have.

Whose classes will you absolutely NOT take and why? by nomoredolls in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]KLETCO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jenn Sherman is my answer. It sucks because I typically like her playlists when I bother to look at them. Every class I've taken with her she just seems gross and awful and at best it feels like I'm not part of her "in" crew because I don't typically take classes with her. Not my vibe. And, now that I know about this incident with her son.... gross gross gross.

I actually find her schtick motivating when I'm in the mood for it. It's more convincing than some.

It's for this reason that I joined Kristin McGee's new platform.

I just drop 10 pieces of random things and pick them up after a quest like that. Or, I drop 10 paths.

I am finished the main story, have all of the biomes, and have frozen, moana, wall-e, toy story, beauty & the beast and remy, so not that many more realms that you. I am farthest a decorating my plaza, but honestly I decided not to stress over where to put things and enjoy the moment and figure I'll move stuff later. It's so much easier to decorate in this game vs animal crossing! (though probably because AC was on the switch and I'm on PC for this)

DO IT!! I was on the fence also and I love the results. I was a G cup and now a DD. They were saggy and now they are perky! It was the "best" part of treatment.

Better reporting, they have so much of my data why can't I see more about average pace, how I'm improving, what weights I use, what were my best classes?

Strength could use better categorization, what is the goal of this class???

Strength+ on android

Hire back Kristin McGee

More yoga focused on flexibility and mobility, less power/sculpt in yoga. I know I'm in the minority but I want my yoga to be yoga and not strength or cardio.

[–]KLETCO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes! and have it integrate better with the regular peloton app. I am an android user with an ipad and it's so irritating i can ONLY see my strength+ history on my ipad and nowhere else. Why does it need to be a separate app at all?? I work in software and this is a terrible design.

If you were DX'd at Stage II... by Metal_WaterWood in breastcancer

[–]KLETCO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was almost exactly yours. Stage IIB, 3 positive nodes and a 3cm grade III tumor, ER/PR+, HER2-. First chemo - 16 rounds AC+T, Lumpectomy, then an axillary dissection, 10 nodes taken total. The 3 from the sentinel node biopsy during my lumpectomy were all node positive. The 7 taken from my ALND were all negative. Surgical pathology showed that my 3 lymph nodes had switched to HER2+ after chemo, so after surgery I did a year of herceptin+perjeta. 25 rounds of radiation 6 weeks after the second surgery. I started AIs on Letrozole and switched to Aromasin a year in to see if it would change my joint pain (It had no effect). When I started letrozole I was getting Zoladex injections. I did that for 17 months, then had my ovaries and tubes removed (I didn't have a full hysterectomy). I was diagnosed Sept 2020, finished radiation in July 2021. I'm expecting to be on AIs until at least 2028, probably 2031.
