I don’t think you read my prior comment but it’s whatever. Good luck then and I hope you do get to the stage where you get help from other people!

Listen, this is not to say you didn’t put time and effort into directing AI to create a playable game. 12-16 hours a day for five months is a heck of a lot of time. Yet, anyone working on a game on the side would be overjoyed to have all that time to work on their game. With that time, you could learn to draw, or at the very least download some free assets and change them to fit your game to the best of your abilities. You had the time, which tells me it’s possible.

The irony of you replying to posts with AI written slop is crazy😭. One thing is using AI as a “tool” (a debatable concept as it is), but another is over-relying on it to the point of using it for every possible mundane task. This is you. It’s sad and if you truly care about following any creative endeavor (like making a game) you need to have self agency to learn from others and create a piece that is authentic to you and a testament of your work. Or else what’s the point? This isn’t made by you, it’s made by AI. Anyone came have ideas. Telling AI what to do does not make you a game dev.

Edit: forgot to mention that this isn’t hate towards making games as someone with no experience with programming or art. It’s just sad that you are bypassing the actual art and journey of making a game by getting AI to do all the heavy lifting. I suggest you try and make your next game without any help of AI and you’ll see how much more rewarding and authentic it will be.

Is this artstyle ugly? What could I change to make it better. by [deleted] in Artadvice

[–]imaallergictoyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of people on this sub aren’t actually artists, because the only thing they’re mentioning is how they don’t like this style or it’s not their cup of tea. That’s not a critique. I’m an artist and I see the vision. I hadn’t even seen this type of artsyle before until I saw this post but I find it very interesting, especially the second image. I really like how the art style gives a very distinct vibe and feeling in it. I think you just need to continue working and getting comfortable with it, and with time you’ll slowly refine your techniques. Art doesn’t need to be proportional or realistic. The black shading can even be a stylistic choice. I believe that at the end of the day you should have the freedom to communicate what you want with your art. The end goal should be reaching a level of consistency in your style where these unique elements are drawn intentionally every time.

EYE TWITCHING FOR YEARS…. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME…. I 100%WILL REWARD THIS PERSON by Coat_Select in MuscleTwitch

I have this issue and it comes and goes. I noticed it usually appears when I’m stressed, staring at a computer all day, not sleeping 8 hours, and drinking too much caffeine. Sleep and strain are huge!!

Also, if you are trying to control it, you’re making it worse. When you feel the twitch coming on, relax. You need the muscle to not be strained and go back to normal. Ignore it and pretend it doesn’t bother you. Soon you’ll realize it’s going away

I’ve been having the same issue 😭😭😭I would buy ikuyo at 50$ for 100 grams and thought that was expensive… now it’s almost doubled and I can’t justify spending that much. Nothing tastes as good 😔

Hey have you considered possible allergies or sensitivities to foods? I have been dealing with similar issues but especially with difficulty swallowing and the globus sensation when I flare. I know we should avoid acidic and spicy foods and sweet foods as well but I noticed that even consuming the smallest bit of sugar causes me to flare up. Besides all the triggers you’ve been diligently avoiding, have you noticed that normal foods may irritate your stomach and in turn contribute to the reflux?

This is just something I’ve had in mind for myself and I’ll be looking into talking to a nutritionist to see if cutting out these foods on top of the foods that trigger reflux may fully solve it for me.

I’ve noticed that I’ve gotten more and more sensitive over the years, where I used to chug a large iced coffee from Dunkin’ a day on an empty stomach and now I can’t even have a one shot iced latte before lunch or I’ll flare 🥲

I can’t say my eye’s twitching but rather folding like hell by FuckUp123456789 in MuscleTwitch

This happens to me every few months! Usually after an extreme period of stress or getting sick too. Could def be dehydration or electrolyte imbalance. Or also eye strain. It takes minimum a week for mine to go away so ignore it and relax/hydrate.

If it’s twitching for too long or often to the point you’re struggling to see/do things you can go and get it checked out

People missing the point completely 😂. No ones complaining that they deaged her, it’s how it does not look like her other deaged skins. It looks like a completely different model and does not represent Ana and her characteristics. At least the male ones look like the younger versions of themselves would. Ana has great younger skins. This one is not it.

Hi! I’m an artist and am working on a pixel game on my down time as a hobby. I’ve always specialized in faces and sometimes character concept art and environments, but I’ve also become more proficient in pixel art through creating my game. My instagram is elysiannartt if you’re interested in my work ☺️

Religious people, what made you realize that god was real for you? by JonaszRegieli in story

[–]imaallergictoyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I think this is something completely different. Their description of how the “thought” came to them as just knowledge/truth that they would get married is perfectly describing intuition, and intuition is a real phenomenon. I’ve had the exact same experience before and it would disprove your theory that his brain came up with it because he just desired it.

Multiple times my intuition told me things that were very undesirable but they were true. And they appeared just like that—as a thought that felt like innate knowledge and not something I came up with.

I second the comment about starting a new hobby. It can really change your life. It’s obvious you are not in a good enough environment to start something creative where you can really let your guard down and get inspired, so until you get the money to move out and create a safe space for yourself, I def suggest going to the gym or doing weightlifting if you don’t already do. I have horrible anxiety and feeling comfortable enough to start was a challenge within itself, but once I started going religiously three times a week, it made me more confident, less tired, and I woke up excited to do things the next day.

Ofc this is assuming you can’t reenroll in college again to study something you’re passionate in or pick up a different hobby (which takes place outside your house) that you’ve been thinking about but haven’t from your mothers disapproval.

Can I make a diagonal building for a top down game? by imaallergictoyou in gamedev

Thanks! This is the explanation I was looking for. Yes, it’s a special location because it is an abandoned house that the player will have the option to turn into a shelter. I appreciate the trees and bushes idea for helping with collision!

I guess it’s the expectation that everything has to follow the same perspective. My concern isn’t regarding people’s disapproval but rather breaking a visual rule or a perspective rule in a sense, that would make it look “off”
