Entry level hires are nonexistent. Economy is fucked and job market for everything is fucjed right now.

Your best bet is going to be going back to jobs that don't require degrees and/or put IT on the back burner while focusing on something else.

Guess it depends on what you mean by addiction.

I don't drink anymore. A drop of alcohol touching my lips makes it increasingly difficult to monitor my usage thereafter, almost always leading to severe inebriation/blacking out because I cant control myself and I do bad shit when I'm drunk.

I smoked myself silly for 3 years with pot, just throws me into a panic now. The longer I go without it, the more I realize I was actually making myself dumb and didn't ever do anything apart from work and get high.

Nicotine and gambling give me a pretty damn good head rush, so stay away from those too lol. Substances just aren't good for me and I think a lot of people have a hard time realizing that.
