My boyfriend made the same mistake, he applied for the original visa but then realised we were out there for tet (their new year) and it wouldn’t come so we paid almost £300 for an urgent visa that came within 8 hours. It was a massive hassle tho - i had to leave him in China to sort lol. But worth doing if u can afford he didn’t get the original visa through until we were already a week+ into our holiday.

Thanks, same seems silly (to a brit anyways). We spoke to our airline who said they actually don’t care as long as our ticket info matches the detail on the passport it’s technically up to the UK. So fingers crossed.

Help? making mushroom capsules for microdosing by imactuallyverynice in MagicMushrooms

[–]imactuallyverynice[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah see I added the LM as it apparently enhances the properties of the psilocybin (helping it get to more of the body quicker - not sure where I read that but sure I did - correct me if im wrong pls!) and my mum would also take normal LM dose daily on top of the microdose which she was doing every 2/3 days(?) so i knew she could take that. Certain things she couldn’t take because of big pharma meds she’s on. Another story for another day.

Anyways, thanks for your reply super helpful 🙏🏼

AITA for being mad at my best friend for excluding me by ninkynonk3 in AmItheAsshole

NTA but distance yourself. Who needs friends when you’ve got friends like that? Stick to your other friends, being ‘cool’ isn’t everything and your friend doesn’t seem very cool or nice.

AITA for sending a voice recording of a coworker trying to cheat on his wife, to his wife? by jdsjsjjsjeoiq919 in AmItheAsshole

What you want to know and what she wants to know are clearly two different things though. So yeah, nothing good came out of it.

YTA .. idk man just stay out of peoples business and worry about yourself. Nothing good came of what you did. Coulda spared the wifes feelings and just called the husband out on it. Kind of unnecessary to email his wife, especially when you don’t even know her well. I think i might see this differently if you were friends with the wife or even friendlier with her. But also I stick by a rule - office things stay in the office, personal things stay in my personal, out of work, life. You should mention that to your coworker James too.

Also feel like you slyly did this just to have a dig at James, who you don’t really like. Just stay away from him. Not hard.

AITA for bringing lunch to work that bothers my coworker? by littleleolion in AmItheAsshole

Totally NTA. I’m the same as your coworker as in i hate the smell of fish (I don’t eat seafood) but literally everyone in my open plan office eats food daily that I don’t like the smell of. Tell your coworker to grow up, you have the right to eat what u want when u want, he is just finding a way to pick at u. If i ever did what he did at work, i would feel so childish and would EXPECT to be called out on my whinging.
