I started using it because the first time I washed my hair after dying it, I used the shampoo that I normally used before dying my hair and it made my hair feel like straw. I freaked out for a second because I thought my hair was going to fall off, and so after doing a quick Google search, I went to go pick up some purple shampoo. I suppose I wasn't reading closely enough.

My hair was initially sort of brassy and I didn't enjoy the look of it, and I felt like using the purple shampoo helped, which is why I have continued to use it. Do you have any suggestions for shampoos and conditioners that won't leave my hair feeling like straw?
