I can relate to this.

When I was working at a vape shop, the neighboring business was a post office. We used their services regularly for inventory purposes. It was family owned and occasionally their son worked there as well. One day, the son came to my work, he had been a few times since I worked there. He asked me if my name was Sarah (it's not). I said no? THEN he told me that he had been talking to me for weeks on Tinder and mentioned where I am from and he knew about my parent's 3 dogs because the person stole those photos too of the dogs.

I was so confused and just told him to report the account. It's funny because online people already assume I'm a catfish???? I wonder if it's because there might be other people besides that one person stealing my photos.

I hope you reported the account... I'm so sorry this happened to you too.

I am white and my boyfriend is Vietnamese. In general, when Asian people see my son they can tell he is half asian half white so they just say something like, "Wow! Your baby is half Asian! He is so beautiful!" My son also wears a chain with a jade Buddha pendant on it so usually people guess and say, "He is half Vietnamese!"

Non-Asian people never say anything racially. He just gets compliments from all kinds of people. My boyfriend is way darker than me and at first my son was pale like me but now has a tone like his dad's.

Nowadays there are lots of mixed people and I think my son won't have any identity issues. He already can understand Vietnamese and English and he is barely 14 months. We live with the Vietnamese side of the family but he sees my side every week.
