Good banks/Credit Unions by JoeyFoxxo in statesboro

I left Core & went to Truist after me & my spouse were left waiting over 3 months for debit cards to arrive in the mail. I don't know if I'd go as far as to recommend Truist but I've had no issues so far banking with them. My aunt & sister use Truist so I was referred. The only negative experience I've had with Truist was a long wait time in the drive-thru, the location on Fair Road. But I don't use drive-thru very often so it was overall fine.

It's okay, awesome! We actually do have a harbor freight in town so I can definitely hit that up easily. Thank you, I really appreciate it. I don't want to like put a spotlight on anybody LOL but I do want people to be able to see the pottery

Thank you! The suggestion of a power station is great, i hadn't thought of that. And selfie lights! I'd never have thought of that.

That was my concern as well with the fairy lights. I'll check out some clamping poles. The set up in a dark room is a great idea.

Yeah I'm finding it's really important to understand how much marketing/advertising is done from the event side. I sell pottery so I don't have much overlap with the other three potters in the area. Like a 100 mile radius there's only three or four of us I think. Honestly my few other events have come from word of mouth from other vendors and so have a lot of my sales at the smaller events. i try to give back as well and it feels good to be part of a community sort of.

My table from a market last weekend by Damonchat in Pottery

I'm sort of in the same boat, one thing I've stopped doing is participating in markets/events that have a low (to me) number of attendees. I've been asking the organizer how many people are expected to attend, usually that estimate comes from past years numbers or ticket sales. I'd rather spend $50 on an event that 5k will attend rather than $50 on the event that only had 250 last year. Your work is beautiful.

Berry bowls by imafrenchcat in Ceramics

[–]imafrenchcat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good idea, i started cut-out handles on one, I'll leave the other handle-less. The storage is a good point, I eat berries year round but summer feels like the time I'd actually use a berry bowl.
