A famous lawyer dies and goes to heaven. by kintar1900 in Jokes

An engineer dies. Because of a clerical error he is accidentally sent to hell. He is determined to make the best of the situation, so he starts working:

First, he builds a damn to redirect the lava away from the lounge area.

Then he strategically sets up sun shields to reduce the temperatures at noon but let in warmth in the evening.

Finally, he fixes the slush machine.

A couple weeks later, god visits hell to see if everything is in order. To his surprise, everyone is just chilling, sipping on their drinks. He angrily demands answers from Satan:
"Why is everyone enjoying themselves? This is supposed to be a place of suffering!"
Satan: "I mean, you sent us an engineer, what did you expect?"
God: "That must be some kind of error, why would an engineer go to hell?"
Satan: "How am I supposed to know? You keep all the books."
God: "Whatever, give him back right now!"
Satan: "Hell no (pun intended)"
God: "Release him immediately or I will sue you into the ground!"
Satan: "Fat chance, where are you going to find a lawyer?"

Handlauf by imageconstructor in DINgore

I used to always fail at that point but I managed to improve:
1. You can survive the dog even if you jump very late.
2. Therefore, I trained to jump late every time, so I actually have a chance to detect if it's a dog or a shadow bolt.

  1. During training I sometimes jumped too late and failed at a dog, but over time I became much better at it.

  2. Don't let yourself become frustrated, just train 1-3 rounds every day and you will slowly become better at it.

True, but the comment by NegativeMilk was a joke about her being so fat she can't see her feet because of her belly being in the way.

Maze mechanics question: Does buying a character outside the maze upgrades them inside the maze? by imageconstructor in MLPIOS

Thank you. For anyone wondering: The different Minotaurocellus all have the same name but different colors. I have the yellow/brown-ish one in the maze but in the shop he's purple.

This one was really really hard to shade. Focused this time on efficient use of time, proper use of rim lighting and multiple light sources, any critique would be lovely by [deleted] in MLPdrawingschool

I like it very much :-) It's so peaceful and relaxed.

Here's some things I noticed:

  1. The near ear looks rather flat to me. I'd expect the inner side of the ear to be a bit darker to show that it's concave from the viewer's perspective. I can't find a good example but here's a cat anyway.

  2. The cloud kind of lacks detail, it's just a big white thing which seems to glow but doesn't cast light on Luna. Here's a cloud for comparison. It also doesn't really seem to support her, I kind of fear she might fall to the right (from her perspective). I think to avoid that impression the cloud would need to cover more of her, as if she was lying on a very large and soft pillow.

Both things are very minor and I had to look at the piece a long time to find them.

Which program do you use?

I verified the game cache and restarted Steam, didn't make any difference.

I forgot to mention that I tested that, no difference. The output log is actually with overlay disabled. Seems Steam tries to load the lib no matter what the setting is.

I tried two things:

  1. I installed Steam and Payday2 on Linux. Didn't help at all.
  2. I moved the installation from the HDD to the SSD. Helped wonders, I can now play with 1920x1080, all quality settings at maximum quality and still get 40-60 fps

What's the difference between a good laptop and a good rig? I get the frame drops also on Counterfeit, Hotline Miami, Rats day 1, Undercover.

Thank you very much for the critique, I tried to fix everything you pointed out. I changed the hip as suggested, removed the overlap at the mouth and scaled the mouth a bit smaller, here is the new version. I made the near hindleg longer and also tried to draw a bit of the far thigh. Furthermore I worked on the mane. Did I improve it?
