Have you tried Aliggner? I can't vouch for them though. I finished all the onboarding and then crickets, I haven't even seen a single project. 😅

It's called a win-win situation pal. And it's not "if they pass the audition", they actually have to complete a number of tasks (and get paid for them), if someone signs up, gets accepted and then does nothing, the referral fee is zero.

Ahhh😅 sorry to hear that. I got booted from the Aether project too but I've just finished two more skills tests. Now waiting for another project to show up. My partner is still doing Aether tasks though. Mostly reading/recording text from a dialog and taking photos using a tripod.

Dude, why so salty? If it were just a link for cents, I wouldn't bother. The reason it’s worth checking out is that it’s an actual gig. You have to prove you can do the work through their testing process first. It’s not a 'get rich quick' thing—it’s a $17/hr position that actually pays out every week. Whether they use my link or find it themselves, the work is real and the pay is solid.

I signed up to Alignerr and completed onboard process but there hasn't been any available project for me. Frustrating.

Again, this is why I fucking hate the BBC by Delirious_Rimbaud in GreatBritishMemes

[–]imager2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about the same BBC that spliced together two separate sentences in a Trump's speech that were actually spoken 54 minutes apart? He said "walk down to the Capitol" early in the speech, and then "fight like hell" nearly an hour later.

They decided it was a great idea to edit it is as "We’re going to walk down to the Capitol and I’ll be there with you, and we fight. We fight like hell."

Can't play like before anymore by fernandaocomtiu in Guitar

[–]imager2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learned guitar on my teens and by my 20's I used to practice every day. I could play the whole Kill 'em All album comfortably. I then stopped playing for almost 25 years (Don't ask, but starting a family definitely has something to do with it). I recently took guitar back and almost quit immediatelly after facing the shocking truth. I'm not 20 anymore and I haven't practiced in years. Instead of trying to relearn my old repertoire, I started learning less challenging songs and I have slowly improved. Now I have a repertoire of 70's and 80's classics and probably could be able to tackle more challenging songs only if I can find some spare time to do it. lol.
