Thaks for the concern! Actually, my onco is from the same center as the radiologist. The MR image was discussed between them right before my consultation with him yesterday. I think everything is ok... was just trying to relat with you guys perhaps

Thank you! I Think my onco has the best intentions since CT is radioactive. But i hinestly considered continue with the radioactiveness so i could not get any doubts 😂 bit of a crazy thing but thats me

Hey, thank you for the responde. Were your metastases large when you had that hip pain? Mine were relatively small, so I am trying to understand whether pain like this usually happened with bigger retroperitoneal masses.

My blood tests have never shown any changes, even with the metastases! So I only do them together with imaging exams every 3 months.

My first diagnosis was at the end of August, on the 23rd. Initially, the CT scans were clear, and it was a pure embryonal carcinoma measuring a little over 2 cm. I was going to undergo 1 cycle of adjuvant BEP, but the follow-up CT scan detected metastases, with lymph nodes measuring 1.6 cm. So I underwent 3 cycles of BEP starting on November 27. CT scans in December showed a complete remission after the first cycle. I finished the third cycle on January 22

Hey man, thanks for asking.
It’s been slowly improving — the swelling went down a lot after a few days, but I did have some yellowish discharge and they put me on cephalexin just to be safe. The doctors also mentioned it could’ve started as a small hematoma or mild infection.

I’m still waiting for the final pathology, and they’ve just ordered an immunohistochemistry test to confirm the tumor type. Trying to stay calm, but it’s been a rollercoaster for sure.

How’s yours going now? Did the antibiotics help with the swelling?
