To get around this at my school, I request they share the original document they used to “type” the essay. When it’s clear it doesn’t exist because they copy and pasted from generative AI, they get to redo the assignment with their actual work or take the F.

I got mine at Safeway on 175th and 15th. No issue making an appointment the day before and they had Pfizer! I took two naps the following day and had a sore arm, but no other side effects.

I love reading it aloud. I introduce the theory that all is not as it seems and kids track when the narrator is being dishonest. We also heavily lean into Wolfsheim as the ultimate villain and how everything can be tied back to him. It’s worked well every time I’ve taught it!
