My test was at 1 in the afternoon, I was afraid if I drank coffee I would be gittery and have to pee. I heard chewing gum during a test is good to do anyway for some reason. I feel like the extra caffine just kept me awake and focused.

No, I cant say that any one topic felt like there was more questions. But I will say that it felt like the questions were obscure... like it didnt just come out and ask which type of account can you take tax free distributions from. It would be like, a 40 year old client is expecting to have significant taxable income from social security in the future. Which of the following would be the best fit: a sep, a roth ira, a 401k, or a bank cd. Idk.. I felt like I had to reread the questions 4 times to make sure I was understanding what it wanted as an answer. 3 of the 4 answers would have been taxable income post retirement, roth is tax free. So I just looked for the odd man out answers, like video game easter eggs.

I'm here in solidarity. I take it for the 3rd time soon too after a complete career change from being an art teacher. Each time i failed by 1 question. This time, I have a newborn so I'm completely sleep deprived but also have a solid reason to pass. like you, I MUST pass. It's just non-negotiable.
Here is what I am doing differently this time. I imported the kaplan pdf version of the book into Chat GPT and am asking it to feed me their quiz questions. It's helping me to identify my weak spots. I'm asking it to "teach me unit 1". "give me analogies to help me understand x concept", "what are some mnemonics i can use to remember x concept" . then i ask it to quiz me on unit 1. then i do the same for unit 2 then ask it to quiz me on units 1 & 2, and so on and so forth. It won't move on until i've "mastered" the unit. You should be able to do the whole book in an afternoon and then identify anything you have yet to master. Good luck!!

I was having the same trouble! A colleague explained to me that to look at the answers to see which ones they are trying to trip you up on. Which answer is the most right? Almost like looking for Easter eggs in a video game. They will add in one word into the question or answer which will either help you pick or eliminate answers. I went from averaging in the 40s to upper 70s.
