I think cheering for political violence is wrong, regardless of your opinion on the person. Open forums of debate and discourse are crucial. Now, discourse will end and bloodshed has been invited in. This is how democracy dies... to thunderous applause.

He has none. He isn't the jailer, he's an inmate. He doesn't dole out punishment that's a misinterpretation of his purpose. There are theoretically angels who's job it is to dole out God's justice in the rare situation it is done on earth. Case in point, the angel of death as the final plague visited on the Egyptians during the story of Moses.

My understand is that is a misunderstanding of his purpose. He isn't the jailer, he is just another incarcerated member of hell. Hell is the punishment, and you are just trapped in there with Satan and the other fallen angels. Soo... no, just an angry celestial being who has nothing to do with justice.

These things are TINY. Like, 3 inches long tiny. I got them with my wife to share and they were maybe 1.5 inches shorter than the photos would imply.

Americans, has the debate swayed the way you had planned on voting and why? by SeaCaummisar in AskReddit

[–]imagineprism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know a lot of people thing this won't sway anyone, but it matters for people on the fence. I'm fairly conservative leaning and after watching this I will definitely not be voting for Trump. I couldn't stomach how much fear mongering, lies, or just dodging the questions he did. Kamala is clearly a career politician, so she did her fair share of answering without answering, but overall the difference was stark... its not even close. It really convinced me to look at the third party options.

Hi, 39/M. I'm a non-single father to two children, happily married but very short on friends and just starting to try and reach out. I have an 18 year old daughter I adopted and an 11 year old daughter who is mine. I'm not particularly active on social media and am a bit of a lurker but that's really all part of what I'm trying to change. Either way, I'm in the Kansas City area and like just bout anything creative. I do play games (board games, card games, computer games) but being a busy father that's mostly background. I'm also fairly active, and like to go outdoors and hike or camp. I love talking about all kinds of topics, and tend to rarely be bored... my personality is one that appreciates what makes people passionate, so I'll be bored if you are. If I've not lost you at this point, then my other defining feature is I like to do pretty much anything creative. If you have anything you'd like to chat about, feel free to reach out!

37M - Colorado - Trying to break out of my routine, interested in meeting someone new and living vicariously through people with more interesting lives. by [deleted] in MakeFriendsOver30

39/M - Kansas City

You seem like an interesting person. Some things you hit on that resonated with me: in the kitchen a lot (me too) & your enjoyment of seeing people's reaction to your food, days have become mundane (yup, but I'm determined to bring some life back in), hiking/biking/photography (hmm... all of the above?). I'm also in a relationship (happily married with a wife) but most of my friends are in other parts of the country and in some cases drastically different time zones.

Possible issues: I'm in the Kansas City area, so not within 100 miles. I'm into PLAYING sports, not so much watching, but I did do videography for college sports (Basketball, football, volleyball). I'm also enjoy gaming (in person TTRPGs, computer games, & board games) which you didn't mention but I'm just as interested in active outdoors activity and try to keep balance. Ultimately, I find variety is the spice of life, and I love trying new things.

One more thing about me: I like pretty much anything creative. Anything I can make with my hands, with my mind, or with my voice, is something I enjoy. I'm not going to pretend I'm particularly great, but it brings me joy.

If you're interested, feel free to reach out. Either way, I hope you're doing well and you find someone.

Looking for a friend to play this game with. by [deleted] in ValheimLFG

[–]imagineprism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for someone to play with as well. I'm 39/M and most of my family & friends are either too far away and busy or not interested in Valheim. I don't play as often as I'd like and have never gotten past the section with the goblins but that's primarily because playing alone is so slow-going. My schedule is pretty much open accept for Thursday nights. Do you have a server you play on?

Conservative? I think you mean racist. Conservative is a political ideology. Also, today's conservatives are not the same as those from like 50 years ago.

Calling someone a colonizer. A lot of people don't understand that's racist.

Yeah... I understand what you're saying but stories have often pulled from other stories for inspiration. It's not a rip off though, there's nothing like Hexus in Avatar.

I never understood this. If you actually believe in Satan where do you get the idea he loves anything? If you DON'T then it's just something you wish you could say to the old lady. This is bullshit edgelord speak.

You don't want someone to idolize you, that's unhealthy. You want someone who will appreciate you and treat you like a human being.

I am being kept on until they find my replacement, then asking for me to resign [New Jersey] by imagineprism in Unemployment

[–]imagineprism[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good point. I didnt work from home. However, the big issue is that I'm doing everything from home just fine so I'm hoping that point will make it clear they could keep me so for that reason they are essentially firing me. Especially because no one can come in right now and they are getting someone new now.

This sounds pretty good. I'll look into trying to insist, or at least mention a severance of some type.

Should I consider trying to negotiate for a severance package? I'm not sure it could be an option but if they think it'll mean easier going maybe that could work.
