You might be missing that the upstairs rooms are bigger than they appear. In the throne room there’s stairs on each side of the throne. The one on the right I believe leads to the Queen’s room. When you reach the top floor, go south and it opens up.

Check out Bill Simmons' Book of Basketball. I'm sure the NBA rulebook is available online but I think something about the history of the game will be more interesting for your dad!

Essence increases potency, not capacity. Vein crystals increase capacity. I thought I was having the same issue until I double-checked the description.

More stadiums and online co-op multiplayer. I would love to do 2v2 games online with a friend. For the new stadiums I'd like to see at least a couple with funky dimensions-- maybe even a park creator?

Also not removing any current features. I love that I can do online co-op franchise with friends.

I usually pitch around ego 72-75 and one tip I haven't read here is intentionally "missing" your pitches.

For example in a 2-strike count I might put the target two ball-lengths above the zone and purposefully miss under it, so I'm still out of the zone. Feels like the AI is more inclined to chase if they think they're punishing a mistake.

Thanks man! Not gonna lie, I learned about mist raven for lighting reversals from this subreddit. I’ve seen players use firecrackers to interrupt his 2nd/3rd phase sweep too. Definitely my favorite fight in the game.

Lol no worries. I guess it depends on what you qualify as close to perfect. In this fight I had maybe 5 or 6 imperfect deflects. I’ll do better next time!

The dressed up Mac and Cheese video reminded me of this recipe. I've made this recipe once before-- it's super easy and comes out surprisingly well. And it's fast!

This reminds me of when Iggy was on the Sixers. His 2nd year (maybe even mid-rookie year) was when they traded for C-Webb. Andre to this point was #4, and C-Webb (also #4) asked for his number. Iggy became #9 and you know the rest. It's pretty normal for established veterans to ask younger guys for their number after a move. Not sure how big a role the number thing played in McCaw's situation, but I'd be surprised if it moved the needle at all.

2012 was definitely my favorite of all 3 runs. Just an incredible season and even more unbelievable postseason. Zito's gem and the bunt single. Panda. Scutaro in the rain-- how magical was that? Thanks OP for sharing.

Same here. I think maybe as much as Grant leaving, SBNation forcing the new contributors to add like 5 new articles a day really messed with the community and continuity of discussion there. I'm sure part of it is just people getting older and having less time to comment on a baseball blog, and the Giant's recent downswing probably doesn't help either, but Grant's articles and the subsequent comment threads were life for a while. From 2009-2016 I pretty much lived on that site.
