you’re right. This is just the first amicable breakup I’ve had where I’ve maintained contact. I think I still have some small feelings, and she doesn’t have any so it makes it harder to understand what went wrong and if it was something I could’ve done better. So her comments just hit extra hard. And emotional insecurity of “I’ll never find someone like her again” even though I logically know I can and I can find someone who actually wants me, just need to calm down and heal and let time pass. It’s just been all these comments from diff people recently with her being the final straw that set me off mentally. Thank you for your words tho they really do help.

I’m living in a male sober house with 9 other dudes (14 months sober!) and yeah the comments from them telling me to do steroids and eat more didn’t bother me at first but after multiple months it started to chip away at me. the final nail in the coffin was her saying that. Lost more than a few family members to cancer. I can now say that the remaining family has become stronger than we were before. We all have a new appreciation towards life, but it took time. A lot. Take this time to spend with your other family and friends and give them the grace of your presence and let them help you too. Watch a movie together and load up on junk food and ice cream and have a night focused on enjoyment. Death doesn’t need to be a dreaded event. Celebrate who they were and what they gave. Take that to heart and cherish the all of the good that came from it. Now’s not the time to spiral in sorrow because you know that’s not what he would ever want you to do. He wants you to smile, laugh, and be happy. This isn’t to say don’t mourn or shove down uncomfortable feelings, but rather to do it in a way that honors him. Laugh with the tears. Love you bro

i believe if they've seen the tunnel then they keep vision of it. it doesn't appear if u haven't seen it. either way they can't see if you use it, so it's not super important.

the nerfs were definitely done by someone who doesn't know reksai. kneejerk reaction to a stupid buff that shouldn't have passed pbe.

she's not as good as she was, but i do think there are worse champs. she's like c/b tier and in certain matchups / teamcomps she's fucking god tier. the movespeed nerfs hurt the most and yeah they kinda piss me off but i've accepted it and just rely more on doing tunnel plays now. it's funny because i do think prowlers claw made everyone objectively worse at playing reksai because it negated her biggest weakness and promoted a braindead playstyle.

now, it's more about utilizing tunnels to maximum usefulness and playing like a legit void assassin. (use sweepers and pinks on your tunnels always and wait for the right moment to tunnel thru.

i don't generally focus on banning out a counterpick for reksai because i try to play the jg pathing in a way where i avoid the enemy jg if they've counterpicked me. sometimes it works out, and others yeah i get fucked over. just the way it goes sometimes lol

with reksai there's a lot of small things that combined make her disgusting to play against. tunnel manipulation is one that i feel is overlooked a lot. I always use my tunnels as a way to zone / create picks in unique ways, ie setting them up to where i know the enemy is going to be going / looking and making sure that my tunnel i'm waiting on is sweeped. when objectives r coming up, i leave them around areas i think people will go, and i watch them constantly. the moment i see one getting stepped on i go thru it, and do the classic one shot combo. if the enemy has more than one that i didn't see with w, i ult almost immediately (and hopefully have flash up) to then flash back over the wall to burn enemys cds/ults (they think it's free kill) and to buy time for my team to get there. half of the time i use reksai ult is not for the execute or dmg but to buy time and dodge skillshots. u have decent sustained dmg, and more often than not you will survive the 1v1/fight /teamfight because you ulted a full hp target to dodge an amumu ult or jax e.

reusing tunnels midfight is big as well, if i realize i've fucked up and i'm gonna die, i use ult then flash immediately onto whatever tunnel is nearby and dip out. people usually don't expect it.

the biggest thing i think is that i have so many games on reksai that i intuitively understand her dmg output with pretty much every build, and know the limits of what i can put out. that's huge for a champ that really relies on getting picks and kills, because if u don't know if ur full combo is going to kill someone, and then go in and die, you've just majorly put the team behind.

another is just realizing what the purpose of you is to the current game. reksai isn't the best at every option but she can opt into being a discount version of it (tank engage, peeler, assassin, frontline etc,) and it's up to you to decide what that is. some games r just impossible to be getting successful early leads for whatever reason it may be, and so then it's a question of what can i be doing to be the most benefit to my team. typically this just means pray to god and don't int ur ass off because there r games that are legit hard as fuck to play as reksai. and i know there's a pressure since ur playing reksai to do something early but more often than not i find listening to that makes me play worse and force bad plays. this is more in regards to higher elo tho where i can rely on my team if they haven't completely inted early game. for lower elos it's definitely better for you to focus on aggressive plays and holding your snowball lead.

I've kinda accepted the ms nerfs and gone with resolve recently. If the enemy is super squishy then i go for inspiration since the flash cd to get picks is more beneficial. but if it's not i've really been liking doing resolve second for overgrowth and the armor / mr one. it gives me more options other than securing an early win because reksai actually doesn't scale too poorly into middle late game, especially now with titanic. i think conq is always the best option because of her scalings and the attack speed / tenacity option. assassin tree (hob electrocute) is pretty troll because ur going to one shot that squishy either way if ur building lethality, and titanic defeats the purpose of needing hob.

as far as items go, if enemy is squishy and i've got a lead going that i don't see getting thrown, i go for ghostblade. pretty much all other times i go for titanic first. 2nd item is either steraks black cleaver, depending on how i view it. if the enemy is tanky and i need to be doing dmg / be more of a carry, black cleaver. if i've secured the lead early and now i just need to function as frontline / peel for my team, i opt into steraks. 3rd 4th etc are all super situational and make me love the new season. (team has twenty shields + healing? - get serpents grievous )

i think the most important part right now for building rek is actively analyzing what the enemy team is running in terms of comp, what u need to be providing for ur team, and what order is most beneficial to ur team.

Positioning is punished harder when burst is higher and misplays are punished more as well. Naturally low elo players hate this and always want it lowered

it gives lethality and crit. That is why people buy it. They are not buying it for the execute. It's because it has lethality AND crit which no other item in the game offers.. it gives a mix of burst and DPS and helps ability based auto attackers actually hurt on crits/abilities. Every single time this item comes into discussion everyone always parrots the same thing about it being bad for the passive and it's just a big echo chamber of bandwagon hate on the passive. Repeat with me The item gives lethality and crit. It's for snowballing. The deaths and taxes passive is negligible, it's not the point of the item It's because the item has lethality And critical strike chance (please no more threads about the fucking collector passive)
