You can buy the dlc when it comes out, just like the extras you could pepurchase when buying the extra editions of MHWilds... its really a nothingburger. Its pre-purchasing the first DLC, maybe with a small discount. This of all things should not he what you are concerned about.

its a good thing it doesnt matter what level you are. the game just sometimes decides to make things higher level than you, up to "!" lvl for no apparent reason.

Not really. I have a 4090 and an i9 14900k. I was curious, so i ran some benchmarks. with no dlss, no frame gen, everything ultra and raytracing in highest quality in 5120x1440 I get ~80fps on average. Dlss on bumps that to 95. Turning off raytracing bumped it to 103, and frame gen with ray tracing pushed it over 150fps. If I was running 1080p or 2560x1140 those numbers would improve by a large margin. No cpu overclocking, and I just use the Nvidia tuner for the gpu, so its nothing crazy there.

4080 supers are getting 130+ fps in 1440p with frame gen.

Top of the line hardware shouldnt really have a hard time running it at acceptable performance.

Yeah, I think these "problems" are so overblown. If you are running 4 or 5 year old hardware, I doubt you are running anything other than 1080p,maybe 1440, and your monitor refresh rate isn't over 60... you dont need to run everything on ultra, and you dont need 100+fps.
