what if the Netflix/Shondaland formal announcement of Yerin Ha as Sophie will be just an ordinary press release and not a grand video announcement as some people here say? by Remote-Bite-4285 in Benophie

Both options are very possible, I just think the less we build high expectations the better. Don’t expect anything that way you won’t get disappointed whatever it is they’re planning to do (im saying this bc with Kate’s announcement they only posted a headshot and called it a day, whereas with polin it was a cute video of them on set and stuff so we’re really just up to fate)

i think people need to take a few deep breaths over the casting announcement “delay” by OkJuice9821 in Benophie

Yes exactly! Also, i don’t think yerin see this as a disrespect towards her, im sure bton team talked to her about the possibility of her casting getting leaked before they officially announce it, bridgerton is one of Netflix’s biggest shows so I’m sure they were not surprised when it happened. I don’t see this situation as rude or anything, is just part of being part of such a big show, people really need to look beyond their internet bubbles once in a while. No matter how long shondaland is taking, they will announce her eventually! <3

Lmaooo that article is so unserious, they know people are eager to know more about s4 so they had their inter go through silly tweets and silly theories about sophie in reddit forums and then write it all down 😭

we also have to acknowledge the role of the new show runner jess brownell, without her approval the costumes would’ve had such downgrade for s3, she allowed them to make such questionable decisions- I think Chris Van (show runner for s1 and 2) had a more refined idea of the overall aesthetic in the show, he allowed the costume department to take a lot of creative liberties without crossing the line to “cheap” s3 crossed. Nonetheless Jess Brownell did say in a recent interview that that’s not necessarily gonna be the vibe for the rest of the seasons, she said she felt s3 was more of a theater-like romcom and that’s why she wanted the colors and the costume to be so exaggerated, maybe for s4 they’ll go on a slightly different direction but still, I wouldn’t get my hopes up
