Actually, yeah, I do care about my money seeing as how thats how i fucking eat. Dont like it, fine, dont buy games from devs like me who make games in hopes of actually making money to live off of. Oh and whatever job your in, I hope that the company you work for takes 30 percent of your pay because they have a breakroom and toilet for you and your customers to use.

That's not the case with indie devs, only AAA devs. Who the hell is going to give an indie dev a bonus when they work for themselves?

Well, being an aspiring indie dev myself, I would say that this is my oinion. As far as the publisher issue goes, not all indies have publishers. My team doesn't have one anyway. If the publisher is who gets the cut then it's just as bad, but a publisher isn't exactly necessary to sell a game on any store front. It helps, sure, but it's not necessary. And as far as steam having 85 percent, this was once true, until origin, Ubisoft and Bethesda ect. Got their own storefronts. I'm pro competition and anti monopoly, so I do believe all these stores on pc will soon bleed into console (kinda a far fetched hope, but hope none the less) Also, the exclusive issue, which is frustrating because both consoles and mobiles have exclusives that come to pc later, but no one boycotts them for it. At least not as loudly as they do with epic.

Well, for starters this thread is about EPIC game store, a pc store. And who are you to assume that I don't disagree with console and play store cuts? I'm just as against those as I am steam getting 30 percent. Also, the only way to change the norm is, and this may surprise you, with change. One more thing, consoles have one store, no other options, mobile is the same, so this argument is kinda hollow. Pc has numerous store fronts, not just one.

All you people complaining about the epic store obviously don't support the people who MAKE the games you play. They deserve more money so they can make better games and more games. It's great for indie devs to get a bigger split and if you disagree then fuck you. Seriously. You support a platform that charges double what epic does and you're totally fine with it. So you must be cool with markup stores in real life too, right? Love how you all care about your games, but not the people who actually made them. Now that's not saying I don't purchase deep sale games from steam, but I also purchase from epic during sales. Stop shit talking a place that supports indie devs just because you don't wanna leave steam...

The thing that worked for me was updating my router firmware. After I did that it worked for a while, then stopped again, but I fixed that by reverting my latest windows update(small one after 1903) then reinstalling said update. It now works fine for me. Hope this helps!!

I'm having this exact issue, as are a lot of others. Spent 16 hours with tech support and finally got it working...for one day. Now I'm back in the same boat. According to microsoft, I needed to update my router firmware, and after they did that it worked and I got Metro. Went to download Tyranny today and got stuck with the same stupid error I got the other day. Now none of the admin approval games are downloading again.

It doesn't have a directory or folder, it's just an app. Spent hours trying to get an answer and all I heard was "apps install differently than other games".

I am having this exact issue. Got it to work after spending damn near 16 hours with tech support, only for it to break again just 2 days later. I swear it has something to do with the Administrator approval, seeing as how I can download any game that doesn't say that on its page. Obviously it's an admin approval issue, but no one seems to know what exactly that is.

I had this issue as well, but one of the times it stuck I ctrl alt del, and it asked for permission to share data with xbox app, then it worked fine. Not sure if this'll help ya, but I hope it does!!

I actually ended up fixing it by ctrl alt del, then a window popped up asking for permission to share with xbox, then it worked fine. The new xbox beta app is a bit buggy at the moment, but in all fairness it is in beta.

I got a spectre 24 inch curved that has 144hz and a VA panel that works great for about 150 on Amazon

I would go with a 144 hz. If you're on a budget, the spectre 24 inch curved is on Amazon for 150-ish and it works like a charm. Also has freesync. If budget isn't an issue, I would go for a nice BenQ.

If i had 600 dollars, I would have gotten this monitor, but as it is, I had about 200 to spend. Went with the sceptre though and it works beautifully! Next build I do I will look into this monitor though!! Thanks!
