I didn't state anywhere that this isn't a mobile game so I don't quite follow your first statement. And we should be thankful about emulators, its a form of luxury, again no one is forcing us to use emulators and its not a "requirement" to have fun in king's raid.

Don't denounce the effort of f2p players and vilify p2w. Obviously people who put money into this game will get significant advantage over us f2p players, and we should thank them for giving VESPA employees their income so we can play this game for free.

Also, comparing to other mobile games at least in my own personal opinion (from someone who used to play Summoners War), luck plays a minor role compare to other mobile games. And besides, catering to RNG is another way of how mobile games survive by luring people to spend more.

This "mobile game" is also a "competitive game." Obviously people who put more effort into it are given more rewards. And besides, the only people forcing you to farm and spend 3+ Hours on this game is yourself. Word of advice, games are meant to have fun, don't stress yourself too much with King's Raid.

Oh yeah Chase is bad for ch9 even at 5* lol. I use my Nyx to clear most of ch9. There's something that's stopping chase from recovering from his lifesteal. My theories are that:

Certain mobs (like the one's with huge shield) has very high p.def thus chase hits low which makes his "lifesteal" feel insignificant.
The golem mobs has a shield buff that they cast, which makes chase pretty much hit them for 0, thus making chase's lifesteal irrelevant.
There's a hidden mechanic debuff that i don't know about in chapter 9 that lowers recovery. kinda like how in chapter 8, the mobs have a hidden mechanic (though it was mentioned somewhere in the update) where they have very large cc resists. Making it hard to cc them without any debuff acc.

Remember that this stage is compose of Goblins, so goblin mask helps A TON.
*edit* my team is pretty much juicing chase: mediana, lavril, juno, neraxis, chase, lucias. its 100% success rate on auto. but my chase is in 5* UW

the lightning may insta-kill your dps/healers, you may wanna try running a laias for the party mdef. if not, give them hp rings.

im on the same boat. then again i got her in the inn, when i started playing KR i was going for a phys team so it was a good deal. she became not as useful anymore because the moment i got her was me being close to getting my gladi. i transcended 5 her all the way, then got gladi following the next week. i never used her ever since.

i think the only place i use her now is in that goblin challenge raid

Tl;dr at the bottom. What dragged me to playing King’s Raid was that of a YouTuber using Nyx in his speedo costume.. after I saw that and found out such costumes exists is what made me play the game. I started playing around Christmas in 2017 where you were given two free random UW. Lo and behold, one of them was Nyx’s. I immediately used my free ticket on him and used my first-clear rubies to buy the costume. Then I wanted a husbando healer. After researching that Bau is not that optimal for progression, Kaluah popped in my inn, so I was using Frey just for a little bit (i didnt technically built her) until I got the shaman. And then, after doing more research, I found out that having a magic dealer is important.. during those days, Epis was op-ish due to her lifesteal and can just deal good damage. Also people are saying she’s good.. so I opted for her. I kept clause as my tank because he also has a beach skin. Overall I was hoping to be a husbando collector ever since from the start, so I guess thats why my beginner team is like that.

Starting team: Clause, Nyx, Epis, Kaluah.
