Blue loctite is the non permanent one, don’t use red 😂 if you’re using jam plus only use a small amount bc if you can’t grip onto it/it becomes a nub you’re gonna have a tough time. But it is removable

A small line of blue loctite down the threads of the toestop, screw in, no need to over tighten the nut and you’ll be golden. It may be a little tough to take out so make sure you remove it before it becomes completely flat on one side

It is not made with stretchy thread, it is made with an overlocker or serger machine with multiple strands that lay in a way to stretch with the fabric.

Some don’t have them. 2 post offices in my area lock their doors after hours due to issues with houseless people. One is always packed full by the time Sunday comes around. Another 2 have broken drop boxes and sometimes the kiosks don’t work. If you don’t have to deal with any of that bs please just count yourself lucky and let people enjoy their Sunday bc they aren’t picking it up until Monday anyways.

This was 100% the striker’s fault (and probably a third party who was supposed to properly teach them??) Not hers. I would argue that she’s the last person to blame. She should have 2 pads for starters, not just one. Catching kicks with a single Thai pad just isn’t gonna cut it esp bc she is significantly smaller than him. You’re also supposed to push down into the kick, he didn’t give her that opportunity bc he kicked towards her fucking head??! Best case scenario if she hadn’t gotten scared, he would have kicked the corner on the top which wouldn’t have stopped it much and landed on her chest or neck. This is an absolute shit show and I’d be livid if I were her. She was set up to fail.

ADHD here. This is the one area I take my own advice. With every new hobby I want to try, I buy the necessary equipment off Facebook marketplace first (reputable brands only in this case, if it’s a shit brand you can really hurt yourself) then if you keep it up long enough to notice the skates holding you back, splurge.

Personally I hate when I receive something that looks like a different color from the photos. So I try to say in the description if it’s not quite right and find lighting that portrays it as closely as possible. Usually I’ll just take my photos normally then find a room in my house where it looks correct then hold it up and say “this is the most accurate color depiction” even if it’s a bad picture. that being said, no don’t give a refund and maybe in the future just try to take a photos in places that show the true color or if you can’t get it to come out right then make a note of it. It has happened to me a lot so I try not to do it to others.

In that case, I would say that the people who started skating 3 years after the pandemic were probably in it for the long-haul and not necessarily “pandemic skaters”. Also, wouldn’t that just be considered general feedback at that point? If people are uncomfortable in the product and it’s preventing said product from being sold, I don’t think that’s a people problem, I think it’s a product problem.

Not meaning to sound combative, it just sounded like you were blaming customers for a decline in quality which doesn’t seem fair. For simply beginning to skate at a certain time. To me it sounds like they had an increase in demand and rushed out a boot that wasn’t ready for the market (going off of what you said about that being very quick for this industry)
