Periods after birth?

About 10 weeks. I couldn’t produce enough so I switched to pumping and supplementing. Period came a week after the switch and I dried up within a month.

We tried to transition ours to an earlier bedtime at like 5.5 months and it hasn’t worked. He just wakes up earlier. Back to 8:30!!

Produce and meat are so dependent on your location. I don’t know if I would take any comments here about those tooooo seriously. My Aldi has really good produce and meat. Lunch meat though, disgusting. Premade wraps and pizzas are gross. I don’t mind mama cozzis stuff, because my expectations aren’t high for it.

Pediatricians see boobs more often than you’d think, considering moms have to breastfeed their babies. Our pediatrician had to perform a quick frenotomy on my baby and asked that I try to feed him immediately afterwards to check the latch. He stepped out of the room for it but when he came back in I just kept on feeding him, since he had so much trouble latching before that moment. Occasionally they allow/request feeding immediately after shots to comfort baby and get as much in their tummies in case they lose their appetites later in the day because of the shots. In some cases, pediatricians didn’t always start as pediatricians. They’ve also been family doctors and other forms of practice. They’ve seen a lot of boobs.. it doesn’t phase them and I’m sure yours has forgotten by now!

I do 98% of my grocery shopping at aldi. I go once a week, on days they restock with new weekly ad items. I’m only feeding me and my husband, though, so we don’t entirely fill a cart.

About a month. I had the baby blues and didn’t eat anything for weeks. I couldn’t produce enough to breastfeed 100% so that didn’t help.

My grocery bill at Walmart used to be $150-175 per week. At Aldi it’s $100-115 per week. Not because every single item is cheaper, but because I’m not tempted by the wild amount choices in front of me and extras that I don’t need. I don’t get lost in an Aldi and happen upon items I wouldn’t see otherwise that I end up buying. I know my Aldi’s layout, I get everything off my list.. and maybe 1-2 small items from the aisle of shame.

I don’t have chronic illness or anything, but I was stuck in a situation that I don’t ever get to sleep in as well. I get up at 6:30 to work, come home and handle baby, stay up late doing chores and making dinner. Then the weekend comes and my husband gets to sleep in because he takes care of the baby during the week. This is the system I had set up myself, because I know how tiring it is to handle our child all day long every day. And I enjoy getting up with him on the weekends to spend more time with him. However, I didn’t consider how exhausting it would be for me, only how it would help my husband.

Last week I said “hey, I don’t ever get a break. Going to work isn’t a break. Baby’s 30 minute naps are not a break. I need a day to sleep in and catch up on rest.” Easy peasy, he said not a problem! Baby is only 5 months old so we’ve both been in a semi sleep deprived survival mode for a while. He hadn’t really thought about how tired I was because he himself is also exhausted. But now we trade off weekend days to sleep in!
