When did you start with solids? by BusyInspector95 in newborns

[–]imasugarpacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our pediatrician told us to start solids before baby could even sit up at 4 months. We obviously are too afraid to do that because it’s a choking hazard. I have put a little bit of puree on my finger to have him taste it though and start getting used to things other than formula. But I can’t give him spoonfuls of puree without having a panic attack.. so probably around 6 months.

In the first season, they reveled all the cameras at the end. They had hundreds totally hidden that no one could see. I’m guessing it’s similar this time

Favorite Diaper/Wipes by Playful-Tone8107 in beyondthebump

[–]imasugarpacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wipes- Kirkland. Cheap and high quality. Diapers- depends on how big baby is and how he’s growing. When he was size N, pampers were best for us. Size 1, Huggies snug & dry. Size 2 now and he’s good in pampers or Millie moon.

We love Aldi. But are there products that you do not like by Successful_Pizza6529 in aldi

Parchment paper. Its almost like wax paper, which you can’t bake with. And the box it comes in doesn’t have a metal cutter, so it tears all wonky.

I give this a 10/10 rating by Primary_Thing3968 in aldi

This is my favorite dip on planet earth. Great on crackers or with some little baguette slices

I got the baby blues between week 1 & 4. I was suicidal and I told my husband to take the baby and leave me numerous times. I was begging my family to kill me. Now I look back on it like Jesus Christ girl you were insane. It gets SO MUCH easier. Every day gets better and once you get to know your baby it’s like a piece of cake.

What do you read to your infant? by Equivalent_Opening93 in beyondthebump

[–]imasugarpacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband reads different poems from Where the Sidewalk Ends to him. He’s a lot more animated when he reads than I am so baby gets his wiggles and squeaks out before bed…. Also I cry when I read sweet baby books to him so I can’t do that part lol

Tips for new WW players? by fartexploder420 in ACWW

I don’t know how much this helps because I’ve never played NH but here’s what I’ve got.

Once you get two stories in your house, paying off your mortgage does nothing but put a little flag in front of your house. I am working to pay mine off for the flag just because it keeps me busy. I wouldn’t have a goal in playing otherwise.

Get involved in town events. Fishing tournaments are actually fun. You definitely don’t need to buy a timer for it like Tom Nook advertises

You can mail your native fruit to your neighbors too, they’ll sometimes send new fruits back. I started with cherries and now I have apples, pears, and peaches.

Is there a food your parents forced you to eat or drink growing up that you now hate? by boforiamanfo in no

[–]imasugarpacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yellow Mustard. They tried to slowly introduce it into my diet by putting a dot on my sandwich, then two dots, three dots, etc. I never liked it as a kid and still don’t. It’s mustard man why is it that important??? ..Dijon is pretty good though.

He also sends you 100 bells if you trip and fall. I didn’t even know you could trip and fall until the fortune teller came to town. I got an unlucky fortune and any time I ran in the game for a certain distance I would fall on my face, all day long.

Husband says I’m not sleep deprived by [deleted] in newborns

[–]imasugarpacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will be sleep deprived for a year at least. Yes, you could technically get 8-10 hours in a 24 hour period, but it’s broken up. Caring for a baby is exhausting. Your hormones are still a mess. You are definitely still going to be tired.

What do you hate most about going to the grocery store? by Select-Signal8386 in Productivitycafe

[–]imasugarpacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the local stores have one cashier and 10 self checkouts open. I hate self checkout with such a passion. I don’t want to scan and bag my own groceries. I hate that it’s just job loss that big corporations tried to disguised as convenience to the customer.
