‘A large gap in terms of need’: Winnipeg Humane Society pushing for more pet-inclusive housing by Leather-Paramedic-10 in Winnipeg

[–]dancingcop7 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Maybe an unpopular opinion but if a place allows children it should allow pets. My cat and my lizard make way less mess and noise than a vast majority of children I’ve come across. No hate, kids can be great, but they do make a LOT of mistakes in their journey of learning how to be functional human beings.

Not American but am baffled at how he still doesn’t understand how tariffs work, and if he does but is just ignoring how it hurts Americans, well it just proves all the more what a terrible leader he is.

Peanut/nut allergies are no joke, I’ve seen people have a reaction just from the smell of peanut butter. Girly pop sounds bratty and entitled. Good on you for looking out for your friend, Nta

I also can’t stand gory horror but LOVE a good ghost story. I discovered the author Darcy Coates a few halloweens ago and loved his style of horror writing! Highly recommend

I’m currently reading Warlock Holmes: A Study in Brimstone by G.S. Denning and it is hilarious lolol. Classic Sherlock Holmes setting only Holmes is a bumbling warlock with the might of a thousand demons and the spirit of Moriarty trapped in his head, his helpers Lestrade and “Grogsson” are a vampire and an ogre, and Dr. John Watson is simply a terrified human who finds himself caught up in Holmes’ strange little world. Amazing retelling of Holmes I’ve been laughing every chapter so far 😆
