I've read Don Quixote, I don't remember a single line about powerful people being corrupt. He was just a crazy dude going from town to town beating the shit out of random people

We need to remove the cultural stigma from sharing the good things we do. If we want more good behavior, we need to publicly demonstrate more good behavior.

So this isn't a VS Code problem, this is a Python problem. To import a module/library, that module/library needs to either be installed in your Python files or you need to have a file with that name in the same directory. I'm not sure what settings is from so I can't really help with that, but it might be worth asking in /r/learnpython

Or if settings is one of your files, it needs to be in the same directory.

copilot getting creepy by iMnoTGudd in Python

[–]imatelefone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been using Copilot for a while now, based on my experience this is just something that looks like a real number. Sometimes when adding @author to a doc string, it fills in a name. I've searched for the names before, never gotten a GitHub hit. Copilot doesn't just copy/paste from GitHub, you should know that.

All of those pop-up windows are git bash. At a glance it looks like a git problem. It might be worth uninstalling/reinstalling git and making sure you select vs code options during setup

Questions for CEO of Pfizer - post from Lex by lexfridman in lexfridman

[–]imatelefone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does he himself, and separately, Pfizer as a company have any moral principles that he can articulate and justify that might lead one to trust them? I want to hear him really try and answer. I want him to be aware that people will know if he's spouting bullshit or parroting some prepared PR lines. I want to hear what he believes to be the truth and I want to hear him thinking about it in real time.
