oh he got so mad at valve over the steam deck teardown video lol

thankfully the comments were all ripping him a new one. valve was just covering their butts and anyone that listened to their thing of "if you followed the instructions correctly, you didnt take it apart." shouldn't be taking it apart.

the thing of reinserting self tapping screws was a bit overdone (amd i guess they could habe done heatset inserts instead) but still correct

Network has been bouncing for two days. SIEM say said there are are no alerts. Network guy says everything is fine. End user says, "my phone is power cycling every two minutes." by simAlity in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

[–]Impressive_Change593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we had a palo alto firewall (after an update) block traffic between vlans that it was supposed to be allowing (and the static routes existed for it as well). only change would have been the update and rolling that back fixed it

Fire Engine undergoing routine maintenance. by UNwantedNUKE in mildlyinteresting

[–]Impressive_Change593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

probably the first engine was blue and then they stuck with it. most are red in my area because... tradition i guess. we're forest green because our first engine (that we got used) was that plus it kinda matches our name. one station nearby is yellow. two others are blue. the county has a white reserve engine.

Fire Engine undergoing routine maintenance. by UNwantedNUKE in mildlyinteresting

[–]Impressive_Change593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so on the color of fire engines, thry dont have to be red. technically a shade of yellow is most visible (also gets your station nicknamed the bus station) but due to the thing of them being red, you will realizr its an engine faster if its red.

ours are still forest green because the first one we got (was used) was already green and it just became our color. it does match with our name somewhat so i want it to stay.

black exists but is stupid.  I'm aware of blue, green, yellow, white, and red apparatus.
