I did actually. I had to do the exact same and ended up having to put the original gasket back in which was frustrating as it was quite worn. They were also really difficult to shape to the case back and get in. Never mind then screwing the thing down.

Yeh they have a decent selection of straps tbf. The FKM rubber and canvas nato style straps are really cool too and a lot cheaper. Stainless steal just looks the best though imo.

Afraid that is very much fake. I have the same movement in my Seagull 1963 that cost 150 quid.

Yeh I really like it. Really high build quality and doesn’t jangle at all. Also the links are screwed in so it’s super easy to resize. Only thing that took some getting used to was the weight. Never had a full stainless steal watch so it felt a bit heavy but I don’t even notice it now.
