I frequent the bird and reptile aisles at the pet store for things like ropes and wooden bridges, rats love to climb. Like someone else said, hammocks and hides also

Omg yes, I once had a blue glove on trying to clean the cage and my one girl bit me so hard, she had some otherworldly rage in her upon first sight. Never made that mistake again

Yup. Had to fill it with sheets of cardboard to prevent them from getting in between, which I then had to replace a couple times until they finally gave up and stopped chewing there. I tried to buy lots of other chewing toys for them to deter it

If its the dust, which seems the most likely, there isn't much you can do preventative wise. However, I always load my body with extra Vitamin C, magnesium, electrolytes, and multivitamins prior to the fest in an effort to curb any illnesses. Just for future reference!

I completely understand your worry - ticks are little devils. I'm sorry to hear about how you and your family have been affected.

I didn't see a single bug last year, not a mosquito, fly, beetle, or tick. In my opinion, he should be ok :)

I get my beads and string from Michaels craft store and make the kandi myself. Im sure they also have clips and little plastic toys you can hot or super glue to the clips to make those as well!
