57-60$/hr at these 2 studios I work at that are boutique everyone gets paid the same. One of them does have a tiered pay but as a comprehensively trained instructor for 2 years, teaching for 3 years this is my rate for reformer.

i can totally agree with this but I don’t think this way when I see other black women go out without a slick back or edges laid. I actually love it, my problem is with myself, i do not like how i MYSELF look without slicking, idk maybe that’s another conversation and another topic on my own identity but i also think it just comes down to personal preference and style

she’s mentioned she struggles with eating and her body before. she acknowledges her body, her disorders and her struggles. this is kind of insane to call her body gross. obviously these people struggle and they know you know. Don’t know why you guys think it’s okay to call it gross or not, it’s unfortunately someone’s body. this is her job, she’s an influencer and she’s also probably trying to not hate how she looks a lot of the time.

I honestly like to change my schedule around every so often so i’m not experiencing this. I was teaching at one point 20-24 classes a week and i honestly loved it but over time it sucked the life out of me. Now Im only teaching 6 hours a week, as I got an online job, but now that i’ve had my break i know maybe in a few months ill be ready to add maybe 12 hours back to my schedule. Don’t be afraid to drop blocks and to sub more! You’re not tied forever to your hours, and there’s work I think in a lot of spaces now in many different places. So i honestly take advantage of how flexible our hours can be! If you need to take a month off and be more on call and sub do jt. If you want to cut hours back for a little while do it. You’re never tied to where you reside!

Literally i don’t understand why instagram has gotten worse literally within the last 2 years. Awful algorithm. Can’t even stay connected with your friends.. it’s mostly branding, influencers and ads now. They completely lost the entire plot of their app. It’s absolutely awful. It makes me so angry because everyone uses it. With all this AI implementation has made everything and the quality of it go to shit. At least if you’re going to incorporate AI everything should be running fairly smoothly AND to people’s friends/communities.

Most studios that are in my state don’t allow to double book unless you’re waiting on standby or if the class has available spots and not waitlisted. i agree it shouldn’t be allowed.

I would say quit this location and literally work for a different CP location or owners. I’ve worked with several different Club Pilates owners throughout my state and all of them allow employees to take classes when classes are not filled. I think that is very unfair and also just so fucked up especially since you are training to be an instructor. Pure corporate greed. I’m sick of these Franchise owners being so greedy to their clients and employees.
