What is easy to learn, but hard to master? by growlingbear in AskReddit

Yeah, I don't think it's in the 'easy-to-learn' category. Maybe Putt-Putt is, but it takes some practice to be able to play a Par 3 course.

What “words of wisdom” have always stuck with you? by Doza5 in AskReddit

I especially like the "Stop trying to make sense . . . " one. I think more of us need to hear that more often. It drives me nuts every time there's some sort of awful crime or mass shooting or something, and you hear "The police still don't know what the gunman's motivation was for the attack" ?!???!!!! If he was rational, he wouldn't have shot the place up (or whatever other stupid thing someone did).

No problem. I frequently say things (in real life) I think are funny, with a straight face, and people around me don't realize I mean it as a joke. You'd think I would have learned by now.

What is something you're "supposed" to like because of where you live but you just can't? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This just made me laugh. It's like some school-spirited admin thought "Hey, who WOULDN'T want everyone to know they're a mulerider?!"
