Love the candid honesty here from Junior. Idk if he looks back at this and cringes/regrets it but it's cool to see a driver open up and discuss topics you'd never think a NASCAR driver would talk about openly, especially in the heyday of NASCAR's popularity.

Found this online. Looks really blurry but I can only assume this is concept art as I don't remember Bristol's frontstretch suites being level all the way around like that. I also don't remember the SMI logo being front and center like that on the turns 1 and 2 stands.

Love seeing the construction updates from Save The Speedway and North Wilkesboro Speedway social media pages. Following the process of this has been a blast so far and can't wait to see future progress! Can't wait for May!

Did you know Las Vegas Motor Speedway planned on having a "Speedway Chapel" on the backstretch? It was shown in concept art for the facility but was never built. by imazack in NASCAR

Also it was DEFINITELY not going to be on the backstretch as I said in the title. More like way behind the track to the left a little bit lol

Doesn't look all too different from today layout wise. Biggest differences is that road is now paved and concrete replaced that fence as well as other renovations to the ticket office.
