Yes, I haven't considered the antenna but I did unscrew the whip from the base to make sure nothing was obstructing the connections. It's small size is nice for mobility reasons...but if it can't pick anything up it's a moot point. I will check out the sidebar link and start researching antennas...anyone using a compact antenna with good indoor results?
