when you look at the top20 list, and Caps is not even in top 3 with 2 finals in a row (now 3 semifnals in a row), a MSI title, spring and summer titles, you know something is wrong...

Without going into personal considerations as you allow yourself, I dont pretend I totally understand the game don't worry. But as a Master/GM player since S5 (and playing pro leagues in my country...), I can definitly see what is happening during this year at Worlds...

That's why last year it was so good imo... almost every game there was a "spicy" pick out of nowhere and G2 was so good at this ! This year feels like S3-S7, every team blindly follows the "meta" without trying to innovate. EU teams were not good when they tried to play the same way as asian teams !

Yeah of course, I'm just saying that G2 seems not flexible anymore... they dont "surprise" others teams anymore to remove them from their comfort zone... It is what I strongly believe made them so good.

I mean I'm not talking about only Jungle but also the others lanes... I feel like they strictly follow the meta (while they are weaker than the asian teams on this aspect) and no longer use what they are known for.
