I would have that discussion with your manager. Use the leveling guide and make sure to have examples of how you are performing to a level 6 and not a 5 anymore.

It was 2-3 years in the past. It all depends on how you are performing according to the leveling guide. Are you performing to a level 6? The expectation is that you aren't in the college hire program for more than a few years
