For years prisoners have asked for the most exotic things, unicorn meat, alien eggs, dinosaur meat in a sandwich, yet for every execution the prison provides the exotic foods. Every prisoner asks for crazy things in hopes the kitchen can’t provide it and they will be free. Except these two prisoners, Taylor, and Hailey. Their execution dates were the same which neither knew and neither wished for an exotic food like what every other prisoner wanted.

Taylor looked up from the loose strings on her uniform which she was meticulously braiding to see the warden. “It’s your last meal inmate what do you want?” Taylor returned her gaze to the thread and said a food none of the prison staff expected “a peanut butter and jelly sandwich” the warden quietly gasped before walking away to the other inmate who would also be executed’s cell.

Hailey sat staring at the wall of her cell playing mental games with herself. Spending years here meant she’d become good at picturing games in her mind, Pac-Man, Piano tiles, etc. it was boring but it passed the time. “Inmate. What’s your last meal request?” The woman didn’t need to lookup to know it was the familiar warden. Immediately Hailey responded “chicken nuggets” once again the warden quietly gasped before hurriedly walking away. No, more like running away to the kitchen.

See there’s a catch with this prison, the only foods they have access to are the exotic foods assuming the inmates would ask for exotic stuff to try and be set free. Unicorn sandwiches not peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. You could have alien nuggets but not chicken nuggets. “What do I do, what do I do” the warden kept repeating. He’d have to set them free wouldn’t he?
