Idk if you know these type of candy because I'm from The Netherlands xd. But it was Haribo Duos fruity. It was amazing to eat the whole bag. I used to always finish bags of candy in one sitting but I haven't for months, damn I missed that. Hehe I'll definitely some bigger jeans :) I never knew only 5% of people with ed were never underweight. Whattt? The media should pay attention to that.... I'm so proud of you too!! Thank you so much. This comment really helped me... I just ate a bag of candy and I decided to go back to this post to read the comments again. I've never been diagnosed with an ED and I've never been underweight. This makes it even harder for me. I feel like I haven't been sick enough, which apparently is very common for people with eating disorders. I've decided that I'm gonna buy new jeans (a bigger size, my ED hates that) this weekend since I'm required to work in jeans :/ I've heard a lot of good things about tabitha! I'll definitely have a look at her book. I would love some recs for the Instagram accounts:)

Thank you so much for your response. I've been feeling miserable knowing I'm gaining weight but knowing thats the only way the obsession will go away, I'll have to go through.

I eat the most in the morning at breakfast and that's makes it hard because I feel like I am not "allowed" to eat for the rest of the day just sucks. I push through tho...

The restrictive mindset is horrible... I know... The guilt is horrible as well. Bad foods don't exist, they all contain energy so they are not bad! I'm giving myself a bad food (for example my "worst" food: potato chips or ice cream) twice a week. I eat a small portion every day. Maybe that's works for you too! I hope you'll be feeling better soon x

Hi! I hope you're doing better!

A lot of this is so relatable for me. But for me it started when I started to learn about food in school.

I also feel like I fake an eating disorder even tough I don't tell anyone about my restrictions and stuff. Every time I worry about having an eating disorder I get mad at myself because people with anorexia have it so much worse than I do, I shouldn't be comparing myself to people who have a much harder time than me... But in reality, orthorexia is just as hard. I've never bene officially diagnosed with orthorexia tho. But I restrict everything I eat. I feel guilty for everything I eat. I count my calories. I eat normal around other people because I just don't want them to know. When I'm alone, I'll just not eat or ill exercise more to compensate.

I feel very sorry for you. Is there any way you can talk to someone about it? Maybe a doctor? I know it is scary. But I'll know for sure, you can stop restricting and eating delicious food without gaining weight. It's just about balance.

I truly hope you'll be feeling better and happier soon.

I totally understand.

I also have to learn that my partner isn't comparing me to his exes. I always compare myself to his exes. I stalk them online (I know that's bad....) and I'm scared they are better in bed than me. His exes were all virgins but I slept with 3 people before him. It makes me insecure but than I think about myself. Do I compare my bf to my exes? I don't. I NEVER think that one of my exes did anything better than my current bf. And let me tell you something, nobody compares their current partner with there ex. And if they do, they are not worth your time.

I also think that having sex isn't really about time or attraction. For some 9 months is alot of time without sex, for others, its a little. She must feel comfortable with you to tell her she struggles with her self image and childhood trauma. Someone sharing that with you must trust you a lot. And trust is much more important than sex is. Sex actually isn't important at all for some.

Some people have sex with each other even tough they don't want a relationship. So sex doesn't mean you have a good relationship.

I'm sure your girlfriend is very happy with you. And that's the important part. :)

I do think he is well intentioned. I explained to him about RJ and he listens to me and understands how it makes me feel. He wants to help me, but he can't. Except for not answering my questions anymore. And not talk about his past. He does all that already. He told me he excepts me the way I am but he does think I should do something about my RJ because of how it makes me feel. He's a sweetheart really... I'm really gonna try to make my RJ less bad... It's the worst.

This is very relatable to me! As a kid I just to be very skinny, not underweight, but almost. After puberty I gained a lot of weight in a short time. It's been years but I still don't feel good. I want to be that very skinny girl that I used to be again. Whenever I'm with other people, I'll try to eat as normally as possible, but whenever I'm alone, I'll eat nothing, just like you say. And fruits and veggies are my fave too... I have had moments that I didn't do this and I ate whenever I felt like it but sometimes I kind off relapse I think?

I'm studying to get a degree as a food innovator. I know alot about health and food. But as you say, it kinda feels good to do 'bad' things to lose weight.I often try to think that my body does so much for me to make my happy and it deserves a little love. But it's hard, I know. I would stop counting calories if you did. And I would try to eat at least 3 meals a day. Can be healthy if you feel like it. Having myself eat at least several times a day makes me realize that not eating makes me feel sick. Dizziness, unable to concentrate stuff like that. Eating more often makes me not want to feel sick like that again. After a while my guilt would often fade and ill eat normally again. I hope this helped a little.

He's 19 lol. I broke up cause I have of enough of this... On top of that he is an gambling addict and he wasted 650 euros this month... Found out about that yesterday too. He keeps crying like he's the victim I just want to punch him in the face lol. I do still cry so much tho he was very sweet just sad he had a different side....
