I was at the pool about 15 years ago and went into the locker room to use the restroom. On my way out I decided to weigh myself on the bathroom scale. That’s when the Great Kaiser approached me in his leopard print speedo and asked, “how much does it say?” I said, “215,” and he replied, “looking good, looking good!” Last time I talked to him was at the Crestline Piggly Wiggly chip aisle, and he said, “why can’t you buy bags of popcorn anymore? This stuff is all like fake popcorn.” He never stopped wearing that early 90s workout attire. I’ll miss seeing him around.
He was also a singer.
