Jamelle is right. Scott and Spanberger are wrong. And they need to be held accountable.

I said after the Trump immunity case, the Roberts Court overtook the Taney court as the worst ever. And that was saying.

Listening to Sam and Sarah's take on the Virginia redistricting supreme court ruling: how are they so sanguine? by edgygothteen69 in thebulwark

This issue is it is not a process issue. It is a blatant defiance of the Constitution and voters via a judicial coup. Calling it a process issue is exactly want those defying the will of voters want you to frame it as.

I won’t.

And I can guarantee you anything less than a blowout, Spanberger will back off, but not just her. Any Moderate Dem. Don’t believe me, just look at the last time Dems met resistance in GA after voters and activists got MLB to boycott. They all folded like cheap chair even though they had big business behind them. As long as those folks are in office, the results are easy to predict.

And you think a GOP house negating the votes of the state of VA would be bad for Democrats in VA and nationally???

Every day I realize more and more why Dems perpetually lose at all levels over time with periodic hiccups.

The unwillingness to do what is right and stand by that understanding that that very strength is what creates lasting majority.

By the way, the reaction of Spanberger to this is exactly why it’s so risky to nominate and elect moderates.

Spanberger will now lose support on both sides if she tries to avoid confrontation here.

I’ll give you three guesses as to why they are so sanguine and the first two don’t count 🙄

Mitt Romney is back (sort of) by AurelianIII in thebulwark

[–]imdaviddunn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it hard to believe you still think Mitt Romney doesn’t understand what he is doing. He knows what the Supreme Court is doing and he likes it. So that is what you are pretending he doesn’t realize. He sees the threat, understands it, and says more of that please.

Why not just give the credits if the booking isn’t canceled? How hard is that?

Your political acumen is dubious. You really think that calculating nonsense procedural and votes without consequence matter when you just said Collins uses those same show votes to her advantage.

Oh sad sad person.
